A platform to share your story

What are testimonies?
Testimonies are anonymous, free-form accounts of personal experiences with benzos.

With consent from the individuals, we share these stories for other young people to understand that they are not alone, and for allies and professionals to gain a more nuanced understanding of why young people take benzos, and how they can provide better education and support.
​​ What happens to my story?
For 2022 submissions:
  • A lived experience research report exploring common testimony themes
  • Findings shared with health and social care professionals, researchers, government and the United Nations
  • Use in advocacy and policy work by the Benzo Research Project to make actionable change
  • Continued use in future education materials and campaigns by the Benzo Research Project
